Come and stay at Drovers’Bough an award winning treehouse in the Golden Valley, Herefordshire.

About

Drovers’ Bough is a treehouse hidden amongst the trees up an ancient drovers track. It’s a mile away from any public road, deep in the foothills of the Black Mountains with wild and wonderful views across the Golden Valley to the distant horizon. Only the sound of birdsong disturbs the absolute quiet.

After you have ascended the long gentle oak staircase, you enter the treehouse and are drawn into the great openness of the interior as the light floods through the large south window framing the ancient landscape.

In spring time the place is alive with wild flowers and lambs. Take a wander and find some wild orchids, perhaps see a hare or otter, or the many beautiful birds that soar above your head. Or even discover the waterfalls in the valley below - ever flowing and home to rare English crayfish.

On a cold winters night the warmth rising from the oak floors (underfloor heating throughout) and the flickering light from the wood burner will be just what you need after a long walk - when you are deliciously exhausted.

Come and unwind in the silence that engulfs you. Relax in the bath surrounded by Morrocan tadalakt. The spring water  from Black Horse Wood has been Grander Revitalised and is chlorine free, let it work its magic.

Whether you are reading a book by the fire, swinging on a hammock in the sun or making a bbq of cherry wood, we are sure you will enjoy the privacy and tranquillity of Drovers’ Bough.
