The Farm.

Mark and Tarn came to Gwyrlodydd in 2014, it was a farm in a state of disrepair, but there were swallows, its own spring water and isolated, so they bought it!!

They wanted to be self sufficient using renewable energies alongside traditional farming techniques.

You might find them laying hedges, coppicing trees or scything.

Mark and Tarn have just planted 600 trees and a leaky dam to help prevent flooding in the local village.

They have goats they milk and many rare breed bantams also peacocks, geese, guinea fowl and an emu called Joni.

They grow their own veg and are renowned for their marmalade and jams.

You might meet their dog Susie or many of the other animals if you want to.

There are many wild birds such as buzzards, kites, owls, cuckoos, redstarts, white throated warblers and many more.

In the Autumn when the apples are ready, you can walk across the valley and see the only horse powered cider mill in the country at the neighbouring farm and buy cider and brandy.
